Welcome to SNEHA 2010!

The new year presents us all with new opportunities. We are excited to tell you about a few new additions for our 2010 show season. Driving classes will be held at four of our shows and a miniature division has been added to the full year schedule. These are both new for SNEHA and will provide diversity, giving our club membership the potential to grow even more! A SNEHA Open Equitation/Horsemanship Classic has been created for Western and English riders alike looking to put their skills to the test. This will be a pattern only class open to walk/trot/canter riders of all ages!

 If you are not currently a member perhaps you would consider joining. Being a member allows you to accumulate points toward  year end awards presented at our annual banquet. Requirements are simple, submit a membership form, pay the annual membership fee, attend 2 membership meetings and participation in 3 shows. That's it! These steps not only make you eligible for year end awards but give you the opportunity to enjoy other horse people, the fun of showing and being a member of a club that promotes our friend, the horse.

It is the hope of the Board of Directors that youth interest will increase and we will be able to bring back the youth team.  For this year we will not hold youth team meetings but will instead have a youth activity to coincide with the general membership meetings. Anyone under 18 years of age attending a general membership meeting will be required to attend the youth activity as membership meetings are for voting members. These activities will be a great opportunity for your kids to have fun, learn a little more about their horse and get to know other kids who share their love of horses!
